Fabric Dolls are made out of jersy knit cloth, craft velour, cotton, stretch knit or some similar type of stretch cloth. Some dolls can also come with heavy duty wire in arms and legs for some posablity and to make the doll a free standing doll (one not requirig a doll stand). Other designs are either in a fixed position (such as sitting) and will only have a firmer stuffing for support (no wire). Each type of doll will list if it is posable or not.

Mermaid/Mermen Dolls are made from both a jersy knit cloth and a stetch nylon or spandex type cloth for tail. Their fins are made of Tulle or some similiar cloth to help prevent fraying. Their tails are stuffed with either foam fill (safe for children 4 and up) or stuffing beads (not reccommended for children under 10). These dolls will sit up if propped against a solid surface or will lean and or lay down. Arms may come with or without wire for some posabliity.

Fabric Dolls come in 4 different designs - Kimono Doll, Basic Doll and Mermaid/Merman Doll, Momo (moggle) Doll.

Kimono Doll comes in 1 size and stands about 17-18" tall.This doll is also only availble with wires in arms and legs. Doll is only avaible with a "tabi" style foot.

Basic Doll comes in 3 sizes.

• Large Doll is about 17" tall standing.
• Medium Doll is about 12" tall standing.
• Small Doll is about 6" tall standing.  

Only the LARGE and MEDIUM Dolls can come either with or without Wire for support and posability. SMALL Doll only comes without wire but can be made in sitting position.

Mermaid/Merman Dolls only come in 1 size at the moment. Doll is about 27" head to tail.

Momo (moggle) Doll only comes in 1 size at the moment. Doll is about 11" standing.

All pricing is based on fabric doll without any accessories and plain cotton clothing. For dolls with any accessories or more elaborate clothing pricing will be quoted once materials are determined.

Kimono Doll

• $60 USD for doll with a cotton kimono and juban (under kimono)
• $80 USD for doll with a chinese silk kimono and silk juban

Basic Doll

• Small Doll - $25 USD for doll and 1 basic cotton outfit
• Medium Doll - $35 USD for doll and 1 basic cotton outfit
• Large Doll - $60 USD for doll and 1 basic cotton outfit

Mermaid/Merman Doll

• $55 USD for doll and 1 basic accessory
• $40 USD for doll (child friendly cloth and filler

Momo (Moggle) Doll

• $ 35 USD for doll and 1 basic cotton/felt outfit
• $ 50 USD for doll and 1 outfit with leather, suede, or velour outfit

There are 2 ways to order fabrc dolls from me. The first is by buying one of the dolls listed on the site for sale. These dolls come as they are pictured with the Kimono Doll being the exception. The Kimono doll comes with a choice of silk or cotton kimono and certain color options for silk kimono.

The other is to Commission a Doll to customise. Commissioned Dolls are made to your specifications to the best of my ability. You decide on the type of doll you want, the type, style and color of hair, color of skin (if applicable), and type of outfit and accessories.

When placing an order or commission for a Fabric Doll there are a few things to remember. Please take into consideration:

• Who the doll is for? - some dolls are not child friendly
• Will the doll be a display doll only or handled on a regular basis?
• What type of hair would you like for your doll (explained more further down)?
• What type of fabrics do you want used for clothing? - some fabrics will add to the overall cost of doll such as silks, leathers, velvets.
• And what type of accessories you want with the doll if any.

Options for fabric dolls:

Skin color of doll is very basic. Due to the type of fabrics needed to make the doll - color is limited to light beige, chamois, pale pink, off white, cream, tan and light brown.

Hair for the dolls is made from different types of materials- embroidery thread, yarn, nylon doll hair, basic curly doll hair, buttersuede, felt, fleece, or thread (only for the small basic doll as of yet). Colors vary and may not be available in all types. Please email me for availability of color and type.

• Embriodery thread is available in a variety of colors, but is best for straight haired dolls or ones with braids, buns or fixed style.
• Yarn is also availible in a variety of colors and has different textures for added affect to the overall hair.
• Nylon doll hair is similar in texture to Barbie Doll hair and comes in all your basic shades and some of your more exotic colors as well. Is good for dolls with straight or slightly curly hair. There will be a small added fee for this hair if used on Large Basic Doll or for extra long hair (below knees on Kimono, Large or Medum Basic Doll or half way down tail of Mermaid/Merman Doll).
• Basic Curly Doll Hair is simalr in texture to the Nylon Doll Hair. Colors are very limited in ths type of hair to: Blonde, White, Black and Burnett. This type of hair is better suited for dolls with tight curly hair.
• Buttersuede is a non-fraying fabric that is textured on one side and smooth on the other. Colors are limited at the moment to your basic primary colors (red, black, brown, white, etc.). This type of hair is good for the momo's with short spikey or long straight hair.
• Felt
• Fleece
• Thread

All Commissioned dolls come with 1 BASIC Outfit (ex. pants & t-shirt, basic dress, shorts/skirt & shirt). For the more elaborate outfits such as tunics, period clothing, silk kimonos, or clothes with lots of embelishments can be done for a small added fee. The Kimono Doll comes with a basic cotton kimono for outfit unless specified otherwise.

Extra outfits can be made for doll for a fee depending on type of outfit and material used.

Accessories can also be made for the doll for small fee depening on the type of accessory. Swords, staffs and such will cost slightly more than jewelry for example. Accessories also depend on availability of materials needed for the item.
