New Spring Kimono!!!

I just finished up my new Spring Kimono for my Kimono doll design (18"-19" thin doll). This kimono is made from 100% cotton.

The outer kimono is pale pink with black and grey designs. It has a white lining on bottom half of kimono and inside the sleeves.

The Juban (under kimono) is solid grey with a black marbled accent collar while the obi is purple floral print with decorative stitching.

This is going to be part of a new doll I am working on for our county fair. Afterward she will be up for sale on my site. The kimono itself can be dupilcated for a limited number and van be scaled down to fit "fashion" size dolls such as: Barbie, Bratz, etc.

New Momo's and Bears!!

I had hoped to get these up last week but due to some unfortunate computer problems (it's is D.E.A.D!!!) I am now only getting around to it.

Here are 2 of the 3 new skins for the moggles (momo dolls).

I also made some teddy bears! The first is my fav so far - I just don't like the fabric of the 2nd one. I am going to make it's design in the faux fur fabric and see how that does.

New Momo (Moggle) Skins!!!

I was just playing around with my doll skin fabrics and tried some of them out on my Moggle design dolls. I have 3 new skins now available for the moggles and hope to have probably 2-3 more by this weekend (time allowing). So here is a quick peek at the new skins...

I also tried out 2 different fabric for the shoes. On skin #2 doll there are faux suede black shoes, and on Skin #9 doll there are faux vinyl black shoes with a slight texture.

New Fabric Doll Design!

Hey Everyone. Just wanted to drop a quick line about the new Fabric Doll Now available. This doll is based off the Moggle or Momo Design. The one pictured here is just a blank (meaning no hair, clothes, etc). I am currently making 3 of these - 2 as a surprise gift for a friend of mine and 1 Heero Yuy from Gundam Wing (endless waltz ed.) as a commission. I think so far these are by far the easiest to sew, stuff and design for.

The doll has an overlarge head and can stand as long as it is propped against a solid surface. The Doll Stands 11" tall and is 7.5" wide from hand to hand. The head is 13.5" diameter and body is 5.5" long. The body is made of standard doll material while "hair" portion of head and "shoes" are made of fleece, felt or flannel.

As soon as I have one of the completed ones done I will post it as well so you can see one with the finished hair, face and clothes.

I still haven't been able to get my laptop up to 100%... the thing has a mind of it's own on when it will wrok and when it wants to throw a hissy fit! Due to that updates and such will still be a little slow on getting up here.

I am still taking fabric doll commissions but I want to stress that these doll take a fr more considerable time in making than the Worry Dolls. All fabric dolls require a downpayment and then rest of payment at completion of doll. Some fabric dolls (such as Kimono dolls with silk Kimonos) will require a downpayment and then a payment plan will be set up to cover cost of materials with final payment due at completion.

I am also in the process of working on 2 other versions of Fabric dolls - A Mermaid/Merman version and a more Child Friendly version. Hope to have some results done and ready to post in the next week or so.

I still haven't been able to get my laptop up and working yet (no one is entirely sure what the problem is), so due to that I still can't get access to my pictures of completed dolls and such. Hopefully it will not be too much longer - new parts for compu. are on their way now.

Also as you can see I have started adding fabric dolls to my commissions. Now these dolls will be taken on very sparingly due to overwhelming time that has to go into making each doll not counting the cost of materials. First off let me apologise for the long delay in posting any new updates. RL has just kind of overtaken everything and I have had very very little time for updates and cleaning up the site. Again sorry about that! I do have the updated Commission List ready to post along with a whole lot of new Doll Pics as well - but I do have a slight problem.

As of 3 weeks ago my computer died! Not a crash (thank the gods!) but just up and died and now it will only boot up to just shut right back down. With the holidays and my increased doctor's appointments I am unable to get it fixed just yet so all of my new Doll Pics are unaccessible. I had not had the chance to move them to photobucket or anything so they are only on my compu and now stuck. So it will be a few weeks before I can get them moved and posted...I know, I know - not what ya want to hear!

I am in the process of retyping out the Commission list - I had to find all of my notes and "hard copies" so that I could make sure I didn't miss anyone. Please once it is posted (which if things stay calm will be by x-mas) make sure to look for your doll and double check the notes and all. If your doll is not listed please let me know ASAP and I will make the correction okay.

I also hope to have some new pics of some NEW Fabric Dolls. I am putting on the finishing touches to an Inuyasha and a Naruto at the moment. I am still debating on wether or not to offer these fabric dolls as part of my regular Commissions so I am really interested in you guys input. Please keep the comments coming and if I do get a positive response then I will set up a page just for the Fabric dolls as well.

I also want to just include a quick note hear for those I contacted last week about the slight delay in your dolls due to my eye being all patched and unable to see clearly - The PATCH is OFF!!! So you guys can quit emailing the pirate jokes okay - I am working non-stop to get your dolls caught up and they will ship tom. afternoon....so nwahhhhh:P!

Okay Just a Quick Little Update Today!

Okay First off I have the updated pictures of Mei - my cute litte fabric doll. She's all done up in her little kimono with her face painted and her hair decorated. I am still thinking about making her a little fan or something but I don't know - maybe you guys can let me know what you think huh?

So there she is completely done. Sorry it took so long to get the pics up. She only took about 4.5 weeks to make once I got going on her - the hardest thing being her kimono and juban. The easiest thing about her was actually dressing her!! I loved making her though and plan to make a few more in the near future for a few dear friends of mine!

Also just wanted to let you know that in 1 more week I will be reopening Commissions again! I know, I know! I haven't even hardly made a dent in the list but I am fixing to have a bit of free time on my hands so I want to make sure I stay busy ya know! Until next time!

Now guys I know this looks like a very long list and all and yeah it kinda is but some of the dolls are already done and shipped, others done and waiting on payment so don?t get too scared off by looking at it. I also know that many of you on the list may not have a percentage or a note, etc. out beside your requested doll ? 1st off this does not mean nothing has been to your dolls ? what it generally means is that I am working on the ?drawn drafts?, sketches of parts of certain outfits, figuring out what material I will need and if I have them on hand, if not where I can get them.

Most of the characters on this list come with some sort of accessory such as swords, guns, spears, fur, animal tails, jewelry, boots, geta, belts, etc. their outfits and not so standard accessories take extra time to prepare and design not to mention make. All accessories are made from scratch for each and every doll so it can become a very time consuming process but it is sometimes also a very essential process for most dolls.

I will be working as quickly as I can through these but I will not comprise on quality (thankfully most of don?t have specific time lines for your dolls ? and the reason I took so many commissions on right now). Unfortunately school will be starting back up shortly and then I will be taking on fewer commissions during that time and schedule but will gradually increase the amount if it seems that I have the time for them. Other than all that (which I know is really quite a lot to take in ? sorry!) I have almost completely finished my fabric doll Mei all that is left is hair and face which I really and drawing a blank on at the moment, so I have already started back on the commissions and am hoping to keep you guys better updated.

I just wanted to let to let everyone know that I will not be accepting any new commissions right now until I have returned from vacation and completed the current commission list. Also I plan on finishing the fabric doll (Mei) before finishing the worry dolls (unless otherwise stated on the Commission List) on the current list before taking more on another list. I am sorry for any inconveinence this may cause but am more than happy to still answer any and all questions or concerns you may have. I am hoping this will not be a long wait for you guys - I really do not like to say no to commissions! But I do not like to fall behind in them either! So as a precaution I am just unable to accept new ones at this time. Thanks again guys for all your support!!

As a side note the new Commission List is almost ready to post and I hope to get it up in the next day or two (gotta get rested over the drive down for my vaca ).
